This isn’t really pro-work, but I was so happy to see all of these folks in action at the I, Reader event this past Friday at Singularity & Co, that I had to say something. I still hadn’t found a rolly-stool to sit on when Kelsey Ann Barrett read Roald Dahl’s “The Sound Machine”, but I did manage to get Paul Park reading Ursula K. LeGuin’s “The Professor’s Houses”, Ophira Eisenberg reading Kurt Vonnegut’s “Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow”, and Lev Grossman reading James White’s “Second Ending”.  Thanks again to TOR.com and Singularity & Co. (and the authors) for an exceptional evening.  And anyone who hasn’t been to Singularity’s brick-and-mortar store in Dumbo should consider making it so, especially if you’re a fan of classic Science Fiction and Fantasy.  They have an excellent archive, and they’re working to bring out of print/circulation material back into the light.
